She might be toning down her outlandish and outrageous wardrobe but Lady Gaga is definitely not going to be headed for the knitted twin sets just yet.
Because while she may have ditched the rubber and meat and Kermit the frogs - for now -  she is still making sure that she stands out from the crowd.
The singer looked very glamorous and elegant yesterday as she left her Los Angeles home in a yellow and white snakeskin dress.

Looking as though she'd taken inspiration from a wasp, the pop star comlpeted the look with towering black Christian Louboutin heels.
Her long blonde hair looked glossy and fell down her right shoulder and she shielded her eyes from the bright sun behind dark sunglasses.
After stopping to pose for pictures and autographs, she gave one last wave before she was whisked off to her private jet.

It was the third day running that the singer was accused of going straight, as she stepped out in an elegant outfit, the wacky and bordering-on-surreal attire tucked safely back home in her wardrobe.
On Friday she stepped out in an elegant long black dress that showed off her slender frame perfectly.
With a beehive that evoked a blonde Audrey Heburn, the whole outfit was very Breakfast at Tiffany's, down to the large diamanté earrings.

On Thursday she left a recording studio in a black Versace dress with a bold yellow flower print on the front
Still in her black heels, she accessorised with a gold cuff and a tiny black clutch bag as she headed home.
Gone were her 'facial horns', the rubber additions and there's was not a trace of a rump steak anywhere.
